Unless otherwise requested, Miranda ships in DHCP mode. Upon boot, the Miranda will attempt to find a DHCP address for about 5 minutes. If no address is found, it will default to the following parameters:

Locating devices on the local network

If you cannot locate the address using the DHCP server and it hasn't defaulted to the 10.1.x.x address, here are some tips for finding the IP address of the Miranda on your network:
