Miranda is available in a variety of output options. For the most part, the specs are the same, but there are some key differences. Before going any further, make sure you know what type of Miranda you're working with:

Miranda DMX

This is a small controller with screw terminals designed for permanent installation:

Depending on purchase, it may or may not include an XLR adapter or power supply.

During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, some are being sold in "sled-style" cases:

This is the identical hardware inside, but a more open case.

<aside> 🐡 Hardware Revision Issues Miranda DMX units prior to serial number MDM-000018 (that is: MDM-000017 and earlier) have a different hardware version (v1.9) than the later versions. In particular, they do not support DMX input.

CineMiranda

This is a larger device with XLR outputs, designed for production use:

While this shares much of the internal hardware of a Miranda DMX, the IO connections are different- in particular it uses a barrel jack for DC power and XLR for DMX IO (the ports support DMX input, but require a turnaround to connect the proper connector)
