First, unpack the CineMiranda and make sure you have all the parts:
- Miranda controller
- Power cord
That's it! You're ready to go.
(If you don't have all the parts, contact us and we'll get things straightened out!)
Connect to the Internet
If your network has a DHCP server, you can simply connect the Miranda with an ethernet cable, and it should find its way to the internet.
If you need to set a static IP, you have two options:
OR
- Connect it directly to your computer and wait until it decides there is no DHCP (the Net Link light will turn green after about 5 minutes), and then connect to the Fallback IP address printed on the label
When turned on, the controller may take up to 15 seconds to boot up.
LED States:
- Net Link: will be yellow when a link is detected, and green when you have an IP address
- Magic: should be pulsating slowly
- Cloud: will be green when you have a connection to the cloud (shortly after you get an IP address)
- sACN: will be yellow when in sACN Input Bridge mode with no data, green when in sACN Input Bridge mode and receiving sACN data
- DMX A: will be green when DMX A is Universe 1 (normal state), blue when DMX A is Universe 2
- DMX B: will be blue when DMX B is Universe 2 (normal state), green when DMX B is Universe 1 (typical mirrored configuration)
